Why is Solo Queue still hell for Support mains?

Every time I solo queue as a support I get an ADC who either doesn't know how to ADC or is trolling. I get someone who is playing a norms as their first game in 7 months. I get an ADC who won't do anything but CS and say "It's not even ranked dude." When I play ranked I get the ADC that doesn't know what the enemy champs do. A bad ADC is annoying but trolls should be more avoidable. Playing ranked Solo Queue as a support main feels like hell. I have to play all day hoping for one game with an ADC that has any idea what they're doing. Why have a role that depends on another but no real system to pair them better?

I understand that not every ADC I get can be great. I can play with a bad ADC. I can carry as a support. I play Leona, Blitz, Lux, Senna.

The problem is that there are a lot of people who take advantage of how easy it is to troll without hitting a checkbox. Trolling ADCs will: CS until the enemy attacks then stand there allowing them to get a kill, not leash for the jungler, choose a champion that does not belong in the bot lane, LOL in the chat every time the support dies or they themselves die, /all chat to enemies about ally teams plans, ignore when the enemies all-in towards the support and then die themselves. I try to report these players when I can but they can do a lot of little things that derail the game. They will often say "it's not even ranked" or in a ranked game "it's just a game".

League of Legends is designed to be competitive and I'm matched up with someone who is not competitive at all, or looking to ruin people's day. When will Riot attempt to fix this? They advertise as a competitive PvP, become an eSport, and is known as the most difficult PvP game there is. Why not try harder to filter the people who want to ruin the game?

Riot can try all they want. In the end, people are still people and this game allows children all the way to elderly people from all walks of life to play. They are in different mindsets, levels of intelligence, dexterity, maturity.... some dont take it as serious as you. Some play once a week. Some decide when games are unwinnable and cry for forfeits while others think every game is winnable and forfeitting shouldnt even be a feature.

The point is, when you play a TEAM game with ANONYMOUS STRANGERS, youre gonna be very dissapointed when you expect serious competition. Honestly. Theres nothing Riot can do about it. Really, nothing. Think about it. What could they do to prevent that in a free to play game?

Your only solution is to play with like minded people, not anonymous strangers online. Thats why there are ORGANIZations around most sports. They have to organize, and that comes down to people putting in the time and effort to organize. The problem is this is the internet. Those organizations happen in real life with faces and accountability. This is a free to play online game. If they get kicked out of the organization, they just make a new account and play normal for a while and then troll here or there subtley because ONE company cant keep millions of players in check, especially online. Youre living in a fantasy land if you honestly expect good serious competition amongst teams of FIVE completely anonymous strangers thrown together online. I dont know why people hold league in such high regard as a FREE game. Its free. How could you expect actual serious good competition in most of your games? Anyone can play it. No vetting process whatsoever.

My problem climbing as a support main is when 2-3 roles are 0-5 and sometimes 0-10. Other than that, ADC on my end is fine except if they're really tilted for w/e reason. If you're a really good support, all you need is to communicate with your ADC in a non-offending way even if they are unreasonable.

Mid-game or earlier, always try to roam for gank opportunity. Your jungler and midlane will really appreciate that. But let your ADC know beforehand when you do that. And always plant wards river and enemy jungle so that your ADC can farm safely while your'e away.

Also as a support, be a cheerleader and say good job and nice work to keep the morale up. Diffuse any players from fighting each other, most especially when they're feeding. They'll be better and will do try. It has worked countless of times during all my games as a support.

And lastly, you have to accept that some games will just have that unwinnable troll and toxic games. I would still play out the game in the off-chance of a comeback or a change of heart from the toxic players. But i'd mute the toxic player at this point and just play the game win or lose.

That's not the problem, you need to learn how to carry toxic clueless crap sometimes, problem is everything deletes us after 6 while, we all 3 levels down so early in the game and that is why it's unplayable for us

Well, if your problem is with adc keeping you from having a good game, the solution is simple. Learn to play adc yourself.
