Chat ban system is so broken...

Not expecting literally anything to come of this post, just wanted to vent.

9-game chat ban where the 3 games they post have no profanity, slurs, anything of the sort. I called out players who were overtly trolling or int'ing and asked for them to be reported. Was I nice about it? Definitely not. Did I deserve a chat ban? eyeroll sure, why not. What has me pissed though is that all those games I got legit trolled (not people having an off game, I get it, I have them too) and for called people out on it, and asking others to report the behavior I suddenly become the bad guy. Chat ban me, I'm not nice to trolls, that's fine. Meanwhile though, these players are out and about trolling other games and faking nicety in chat to avoid a ban. The system is broken. Pointless rant over.

You realize "calling out" trolls just emboldens them to troll more, and actively rewards their behavior?

This is your problem. You don't get to take justice into your own hands and decide who deserves politeness.

One report does the same as nine reports in a game. Because of this, Riot views calling for reports as harassment. It does nothing positive or productive besides split the team, waste time typing, and potentially cause the targeted player to spiral downwards more. If they aren't intentionally feeding, just having a bad game, they be more inclined to intentionally feed after someone asks everyone to report them. There is no reason to call out someone for trolling, since they know they are doing it anyways, or intentionally feeding. If they are INTENTIONALLY feeding, they know they are doing it. If they are having a bad game, you are simply lowering their morale and making it less likely to make a comeback.
