Probably not.

Through support tickets Riot sometimes will remind players that it is against the Summoner's Code to ask for reports -- even if they are valid. I know this firsthand.

But saying "hey fyi -- asking for reports is reportable" is not reportable in itself.

But I see what you are getting at... but no it's not.

Now you know... and knowing is half the battle.

I can imagine some slight potential for it to be reportable, as it does technically count as a threat, but due to its informative nature, I think it would be even lower on the spectrum of reportability than "GG EZ" - provided it's reportable at all.

That speculation aside, I wholly agree with LeafieGreens2.

If it's said once, it's probably not going to count for anything, however if it's being said repeatedly throughout a match, that can definitely contribute to a punishment (thought typically isn't enough in and of itself). It can also depend on whether that "request" is being used as a platform for abuse, in which case it is definitely reportable and punishable.

If someone call reports on whoever for whatever, I report the person who said it, period.

For one, it's negative attitude (at best), and secondly, whether it's 1 or 9 reports against someone in a single game, it doesn't change or do anything in terms of punishment.

Maybe if you say it every time someone else says report it could be considered the same type of harassment. Otherwise absolutely not.

Its also not reportable to ask for a ban once, only if it becomes repeated and therefore harassment.

As LeafieGreens2, the context of "letting someone know that asking for reports can be a punishable offense" is not punishable .

But it sounds like you are under the assumption that the system is a word search filter. The system is not word search filter, it's a context filter, where if the context of chat is used as an insult/harassment, then it will be a punishable offense.

It also works based on consistency x severity. So someone can be punished for 1 game of extreme toxic or 100 games of mild toxicity.

Yes it is bannable i am speaking from experiance said nothing all game on my last chance to reform on another account "report *blank" at the end got banned, they said asking for reports is demoralising to the player and on the toxicity scale its a 6/10 and since i was on my last straw they banned.
