What's up with low elo ADC's

Hey everyone welcome to my first post I've decided to make since I've been seeing a pattern in my recent ranked games which tilts me to the extreme. Adc's not engaging when i try to gank. Currently i'm playing duo with a gold 4 top laner who wins lane pretty much every time so i don't have to worry about ganking him much but in the current meta it would seem that whichever sides bot lane wins will win the game. And now me as a "hardstuck" silver 2 jungler try to camp botlane as much and as often as i can but in my recent games the adc's aren't going in despite having good mana and good health and me pinging them before hand aswell as notifying them that i'll be keeping my eye on bot for all possible ganks.

My question is if anyone is having the same problem or does anyone know what i should do instead since i'm loosing hope for low elo Adc's Maybe i should start maining adc again instead?

Appreciate any thoughts or comments

Edit: i was extremely tilted when i posted this cause it's just happened way too many times recently i will look into what i can do better to get off better ganks at more optimal times and since this post i've had some great bot lanes who've brought me some sliver hope again and a note to add is i'm currently maining Warwick and have noticed this happening more since starting to play him cause before i mained Nunu and more often than not my ganks went better on him due to his higher sustain and more cc to give the laners time to catch up

Anyways more tips always appreciated and so far you guys have been a great help [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

I know elo hell doesn't exist but sometimes it sure as hell feels like it

What's up with low elo ADC's

And they're all probably asking "What's up with low elo junglers."

The answer to both is "they're low elo." Please don't expect LCS-level playing.

All I can say is that as a low ELO player my brief time attempting to play ADC involved a lot of support mains who were at least as bad as I am, and I wouldn't want to lane with me

This lead me to play passive, because every time I auto harassed I generally assumed some silver leona would try to make a 'Sick play' involving being level 3 and using flash to engage under enemy tower with 30% hp

Well, the reason why could be super situational. What items do your ADC have compared to the enemy ADC? Did they maybe see the enemy jungler recently and have reason to believe he could still be around? What is their minion wave like; is it stacked up super big and under their tower or is it smallish(less than 6 minions or so) and frozen outside of their tower? Do they know their support doesn't have CDs up? Are they against a lane that they struggle with and don't have the summoners to follow up a gank(IE, a Tristana into Draven where she doesn't have heal but he does)? Do they maybe not have CD's to follow it up(IE, going back to Tristana, she doesn't have her jump up because she used it a few seconds before your ping and its a long 22 second CD)? Is the enemy mid laner missing and they're nervous about that? For that matter, how soon are you ganking after you ping? Is it immediately or is it a few seconds before or is it you're pinging that you're coming but after you get your camps? If you ping too late and you gank literally as you ping, sometimes the ADC can't react fast enough to help or assist in a gank or aren't in a position to. If you ping too early then your ADC just assumes you aren't gank at that moment and then are thrown off when you do.

Like, your example leaves out a lot of key factors.

Editing to add: What kind of support do they have? Is it someone that can easily facilitate a gank(Ali, Thresh, Blitz) or is it someone who would struggle(Janna, Soraka, Yuumi)?

One piece of advice that I've heard a lot is, "focus on the winning lanes".

Help your friend set their top lane really far behind. Then use that advantage to roam with him to mid, or tp botlane to help your ganks there.

If you spend your time and energy on a lane that's behind, they'll generally fall behind again because the relative skill level that caused them to drop behind in the first place is still there. (Of course you should make allowances for scaling champs that have a weak laning phase. You do want them to stay afloat so that they can impact the lategame.)

Excessive ganks can also cause a lane to bleed cs that they would otherwise gain, especially if you tax some minions. You don't want your ganks to set your lanes behind. If your gank wont gain a summoner spell, kill, break the opponents freeze, or at least force an early back, it may be better to not gank.

I'm gonna take a stab in the dark here and say that you're probably ganking badly. I've played many games from Bronze all the way to Gold and I have NEVER seen a jungler in SoloQ that understands minion advantage. Every single fuckin jungler I have ever played with will see me being pushed in with 2 full waves crashing into my tower and still try to gank. I don't bother anymore assisting in such ganks and would leave you to die by yourself if you come with that shit around me. Perhaps this is what you're doing wrong. I don't know. Like I said, just a stab in the dark. Smart laners won't assist in ganks if you're trying to gank through a billion minions. Pretty much the only reason I can think of for laners not following up on ganks.

Get yourself fed and carry game. Don't rely on others to use their gold wisely. That's how you climb low elo. Then mid-elo you have to play objectives and group when it's time and not loiter in the jungle like a silver boy. But mid-elo is where most boosted players are and you'll be able to tell because they're the ones loitering in the jungle when you have baron buff and the enemy team is turtling. Or the fed adc that can't do damage because being spoon-fed kills by support and doesn't know how to use damage.

I question the junglers macro instead in my games as a support / ADC. When we have a giant wave stacked, we could dive them and get out easily or get alot of plates, but they chicken and go back into their farming their jg.

Spam ping your target as you're approaching the lane. Sweep for wards and drop a pink in tri. Best you can do.

Also dont get hung up on bot lane if yours is bad. You usually wont be able to turn it around even if you pull off a successful gank.
