So I am able to do what this man did without consequences?

I would be glad to share a link to the game if someone could tell me how to... So what happened this game is that a Nunu on my team (top laner) would not stop following me in the jungle to take my farm every time. After several attempts at getting jungle monsters I had given up and decided to sit in spawn. I was penalized for bad behavior for having a piece of beep follow me around for the majority of the game and take everything cause of his chomp, yet it was still my fault I guess. Someone give me some sort of insight how the beep this works.

You had a toxic player in your game, ruining your experience.

Your response was to AFK and ruin everyone else's experience.

Penalty deserved.

Does that other guy also deserve a penalty? Absolutely, that's a shitty thing to do to somebody. But penalties are not about the other person. Context does not matter. The only thing that matters is your behavior, and you behaved poorly.

The right thing to do would have been to focus on farming the botside jungle. He'd eventually either lose top for not being there and get reported by your entire team, or he would get bored and actually play his role. Instead, you made it a gray area where both people involved deserved a punishment, and you were the only one who was clearly throwing the game.

Afking is against the rules and is punishable via Leaver Buster.

Your best option in those situations is to just play the game and disregard the trolls

Two people trolling dont magically cancel eachother out.

You don't need to be a road runner and bleep yourself.

As for the situation, did you report the person in the post game lobby? If you didn't, you should submit a support ticket and be detailed about the situation. Their name should hopefully work against them in this situation. Do not post the name as that violates a board rule.

For clarity, what sort of punishment did you receive? If it was Leaverbuster, that happens with afk. If it was chat, then if you share chat logs; we might be able to identify what aggravated the system. Previous punishments would be helpful too. Previous LPQ or Chat Restrictions/14 day ban.

As opposed to afking, you could have switched to lane. Yes, you would be at a disadvantage at that point with items; but maybe your team would still have a chance.

hey im trying to answer every question you have:

yes trolling/inting in 99% of cases has to be handles by manual reviews, which pretty much dont exist currently. so yeah youre able to do this and the chance of being punished for it are so small lol.

afking gets punished by the "leaverbuster" which works pretty much automatic.

toxic chatbehavior gets handled by the IFS the instant feedback system (even tho this name is wrong actually cause not much about it is instant)

and you get judged for your behavior. noone elses

Disconnecting or going afk one time wont amount to a punishment. I am willing to bet your chat logs had something to do with it.... even though I dont agree with people being punished for things they type in chat.

Yikes... you probably could try it and get away with it for a certain amount of games. Theyre pretty notorious for their lack of trolling punishments... Ive had that happen to me, but I didnt go sulk in the fountain and guarantee a loss. I went to the lane he was supposed to be in. I roamed. I looked for opportunities. Try that next time. No point in sealing the deal on a loss and putting your own account at risk just cuz some asshat is trying to troll you. Not only is it pointless, but it gives the troll satisfaction. Dont give it to them. Fight back! Dont feed the trolls!
