I know fighting smurfs is frustrating, but the system is actually pretty good at identifying smurfs and putting them in their own queue after 10-20 games.

Just because it's clearly something you lost too doesn't make it report-able.

how anyone should know?

I don't think so.

It is very frustrating running into smurfs; I can see why you would ask that. However, like others pointed out, smurfs get picked up rather early by the system and are then placed w/ their own skill level in matchmaking.

Just brush off the game or two you had w/ them and GL!

True it's not against TOS to smurf per se, but there is the issue of people "carrying their friends" by making smurf accounts in what amounts to elo boosting their buddies. I do think that smurfs are fairly prevalent in bronze, as it is where most people are trying to get their friends out of. Which is EXACTLY where they need to not be, because it contributes to the whole "Can't escape bronze" way of thinking, which is ultimately a self-defeating thought process. Hence, more salt trolling.

No...

Well, technically you can report for anything... But smurfing is not against TOS.. so not punishable.

If anything, I find being matched with accounts much, much higher level than anyone on my team more of a reportable cause than this. Who do I report, you ask? Matchmaking system duh.
