Idk whats about it but for some reason, honor to me just seemed way to easy to gain, I recently just got rank 5 honor and I honestly dont feel like much has changed, I see alot of other rank 5s in games and stuff like that, keyfrags have left, no capsules. It almost felt more fullfilling to finally hit rank 3. Just a short meaningless rant. Sorry if this is pointless.
Honour level too easy?
Dw, in next season it will be at least twice as hard. Because New Honour is introduced in the middle of this year, Riot probably put in some steroids.
We'll see if we will be crying about gaining Honour being too difficult later.
I agree, I am honor 5 too and the only thing i got while honor 4 was 1 key fragment. Moreover what is the point being honor 5 if it's exactly the same as honor 3 ? I feel a bit disappointed by the honor system. They said it would take a season or half a season to be honor 5.... Guess the majority of players don't play a lot then. I was happy when everyone was crying about "we don't see progression, we want honor 3...". At this time it felt like it would be tough and only the most honorable would get something, but in the end it's too easy and there are no rewards... Just stay silent, carry and get your honor... Not the way i was seeing it. It's even worse in EU since a lot of players don't know how to speak basic english. They can't understand what you say to them, or can't speak and they don't know the items' names.
But i'm happy they are trying to improve the honor system at least ^^ And i'm hoping for it to be better next year, maybe they increased the honor rate gain to match the end of season. We'll see ^^
If there's anything to take from this it's, 'It is just as easy to be nice as it is to be toxic'? Silver lining and all that. Think someone also mentioned that the increase in Honor ranking increases your capsule drop, so you get a chance to get a capsule instead of the usual key fragment. Don't think it was ever meant to be a sure thing.
I just got level 3 and have been honored 1-2 times per game.....been playing like almost everyday since the new honor came out ; - ;

I think Riot was just testing the water. Honor was designed to be a season-long journey, but since it was introduced late, it had to be achievable to get Honor 5. I can almost guarantee it will be harder next season.

The point of the honor revamp was to get players to be less toxic. The system asks you to refrain from toxic behavior, not to compete with one another to be the friendliest or most likable.
