I play duo with an adc most of the time. We chat to each other and talk about other players and how we need to handle them if they arent rank worthy with their champ. The moderation in LOL is the worst ive ever seen on any interface. Im a really good player and need to talk to others in game about game play. we mute most players that are extra toxic and find ways to deal with them.. So im banned 14 days for talking about crap players and or trolls in game. Yall will let a troll report me and i get banned for chatting about it in game with friends and or briefly calling people out on doing the same mistakes over and over and throwing a game. If im playing 6 games a day you can imagine how frustrating it is. When you mute a player , it should be muted two way, hands down no questions. This site is so toxic because when you actually mute a player they can still read your messages which makes muting mostly pointless. Should be an easy fix if you have the correct managers and IT guys that have an iota of an idea what im talking about and would bring all toxic bans cut in half i bet. Which in hand would probably increase your fan base and sales at the same time. Why cant i talk to my freinds in game about other players so we can come to an effort to win game and actually have f more fun playing. There is absolutely noway i should have been banned if these players i muted couldnt see my text. They dont listen and feed and troll anyway , hence why we muted them. If I mute someone its because they are useless or toxic...SOOOO why would I or anyone that mutes someone want them to hear us. Its just a really bad set up. Make it a two way mute and alot of toxicity WILL STOP. We cant prevent trolls in game but this will help greatly. Thanks...[slayer-jinx-unamused]

I have one too. #easyfix Follow the rules and don't get punished. Works 100% of the time!

Riot is not some kind of “black hole” where you can type anything you want. They are in the business of making a video game. Not making a “free chat” that nobody sees.

You misunderstand the point of the mute feature. The mute feature is there to stop you from seeing the muted player's toxicity. It is not supposed to be some all-encompassing function to completely close out communication.

The point of allowing a muted player to still see your chat is so that you can still maintain a decent line of communication, even if the muted player has made a point to not say anything beneficial themselves.

Additionally, a side benefit is that even if you mute a player, they can still see if you're being toxic (unless they themselves mute you), so you can still be punished for your misbehavior.

Should be an easy fix if you have the correct managers and IT guys that have an iota of an idea what im talking about and would bring all toxic bans cut in half i bet. Which in hand would probably increase your fan base and sales at the same time.

Except, Riot doesn't want toxicity in their game, no matter the form. So cutting down on bans for toxicity isn't in-line with Riot's goals for player behavior, and they certainly don't want to increase their sales if it means their game becomes more toxic.

Judging by what you said earlier;

...and need to talk to others in game about game play.

...i get banned for chatting about it in game with friends and or briefly calling people out on doing the same mistakes over and over and throwing a game.

It looks like your conversations with your friends largely involve how poorly others are doing, without anything constructive to actually help them along. The adage "If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all" applies here particularly well.

And if you absolutely need to talk to your friends - do it out of the in-game chat. League has voice chat for premade groups, and you can use other third-party communication services like Discord to do much of the same. There's zero reason for you to be spilling your negativity into the in-game chat.

There is absolutely noway i should have been banned if these players i muted couldnt see my text.

And there's even less reason for you to expect to be able to get away with it just because you muted the players you're berating.

They dont listen and feed and troll anyway...

Maybe try being constructive? There's another adage that applies here; "You catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar". Rather than ineffectually point out how someone is doing the same mistake "over and over", actually give them advice on how to avoid making said mistake, and probably give some words of encouragement as well?

People aren't going to listen to you if all you're gonna be is unhelpful. And, considering that you got punished for your commentary on other players, it's pretty clear that you were unhelpful.

You being toxic, what makes you think you're any better than the troll? You're either part of game or part of the problem. If you're a problem, then expect being rooted out and removed.

Don't sign an agreement if you're not going to follow it. Now that's an easy fix.
