Right now: is there a reason to add a text to the report?

as far as i know the automated system is well "a robot" so "he" doesnt really care about what i write. is there a reason to add stuff like "he went afk at X:xx" because i know that back in season 3 a riot employee told me when i report someone for afk i should always add the time if i can.

If it was a chat issue (toxicity/flaming etc), I don't usually write anything.

But other types of reports I tend to add context just in case it helps.

A lot of punishments are handled by an automated system but not all. Especially in boarderline or less obvious cases giving extra information definitely helps, specifically with griefing. With trolls I always give as detailed of a description of what they did as I can. If someone is just being racist or telling everyone to kill themselves there isn't really any reason to, the automated system is going to pick that up no problem.

I add the text no matter what so that if there's any confusion on what to look for, if something is somehow glazed over, I wrote it down and pointed it out.

It's mostly just a piece of mind for me.

It's cathartic. Most people reporting others are raging babies complaining that someone is better than them. Letting a raging baby type words like "toxic" into a box is cathartic for that baby. So it's in the game. Any questions?

The text is relvant when Riot manually reviews an account to permaban them.

Otherwise, no.
