Elo Boosting is OK with RIOT

OP.gg'd my opposing laner after some crazy ass plays he was making. Not only did he shut down everything in his path but his farm was immaculate. He has a 100% winrate jumping elo from being hard stuck bronze for 2 seasons on champs he never used before. OBVIOUS booster. 100% riot doesnt do shit about it, nor do they care. The in game reporting system doesnt cover boosting, and its because riot wont ip. ban boosters, they might lose a client but who cares, theres always some sad kid willing to pay for elo. I cant wait for classic wow to come out so i can forget about this shit game.

It is FAR from okay with them. They ban them all the time. Most of it is done in waves near the start and/or end of a season. So, they will be out there for awhile but they have been flagged by the system and will be banned.

Report it under cheating.

I have a few friends who do boosting, and apparently, when a client gets IP banned, sometimes they come back and ask for another boost :l But yeah, boosting does get detected and punished.

does it not have a report for cheating ? and you can select a category and type out why you are reporting.

I get (or hope) you are exaggerating a little, but yeah it seems like they are more concerned about ""toxicity"" than cheating. I guess just because it is easier to verify rude language. I put ""toxicity"" in quotes because the people get banned for the dumbest shit all the time.
