Honor Levels

So I was recently put back to honor level 1 from honor level 4 because I spoke my mind to a 160k mastery Syndra that thought it was hard to 1 shot with her, and what I'm wondering is that does it take longer to increase mastery now that I'm down here because I've been at honor level 1 for a few months and yet I've seen no progress.

You wont be getting honor level 2 for at least 1-4 months or they may choose to make you wait into they reset honor levels for season 8. I know it sucks, the reform period is pretty harsh it seems, even for first time offenders.
