to be good at not tilting do you have to develop a sensitivity to toxic behaviors?

I'm gonna go ahead and say a pre-emptive "no", but I'm also gonna have to ask you to define "sensitivity to toxic behaviors".

And, beyond that, there are dozens of ways to be good at not tilting, and, while none of them are foolproof, I'll at least offer mine; I frequently yell obscenities at my computer screen and also practice breathing exercises. One would be surprised how well one can level out just by breathing a certain way.

I like to listen to positive, upbeat music (words optional). If I just want a quick, ego-boost win, I'll cheese through a bot game.

There's no sense worrying over the chat log - It only shows what you said, aka completely out of context.

I got muted for saying the dismantling the credibility of an abuser. Dismantling his credibility required stating facts - It's not my fault the guy was a moron, and it was the only way to dismantle his credibility - my "G+Direction" to mark enemy locations is moronic. "You want me to G+Swipe so that you can read chat then check your map? Just check your map." debate only resulted in everyone calling me names... The logs are out of context and meaningless. Thats why these corporations get rich, fyi, they're outside of the realm of law.

Instead of banning people who defend themselves from verbal assaults, put the report option in the game, higher some staff you cheap mfers, and ban people when they break rules....you're forcing your players to moderate and admistrate your game. Goodluck having me tell everyone about your game mechanics. Lolol

Claiming your post wasn't constructive but doesn't post what the other %%%%s were saying. They went around my mute and direct messaged some bullshit.... Maybe instead of banning people trying to defend themselves you could perm ban the people that start the harrassments. I called a guy some names after I muted him because he called me names first and somehow managed to get the rest of the team to side with him...so I had to explain that the guy was a moron. I'm not harrassing anyone, I'm not flaming, I'm not insulting - I'm speaking the truth to get the team back to focusing on the game...but I got a ban? Smart, good mods...now we know why you don't list the entire chat log...'cuz you're wrong..you're just going through searching key words and banning, you have no understanding of law.

Long story short, yeah you have to be willing to be abused otherwise you get banned.

I think having a sensitivity to toxic behaviors make you tilt more. Do the opposite. Be insensitive to it.
