I honestly think there should be a fix in either leaving the game and DCING from the game. Putting someone in low matching make, waiting 20 minutes of their life should be reduced to 10 min. Some people did not leave because they had to or wanted to i'm pretty sure you guys can relate when trying to reconnect and suddenly get placed in this situation and 5 rounds = 100 minutes [slayer-jinx-unamused] [zombie-brand-clap]
Riot does relate, and that's why the built the system with some forgiveness for the occasional leave. If you got a penalty from LeaverBuster, it means you've left multiple games recently. If you're frequently in situations where you 'need' to leave the game, perhaps you may need to re-evaluate when you sit down to play the game, or make sure those things pulling you away are already taken care of before you queue up.
The thing is, your teammates don't care if there's a valid reason you left the game. They only care that you just wasted 20+ minutes of their game time for that day.
