Riot needs to be more aggressive with banning accounts

In my recent ranked match, as the jungler, the support stole my red buff with smite lvl 1 and proceeded to shadow me stealing camps the rest of the game in a RANKED match. The fact people can do this without getting their accounts banned is absurd.

100% Banning trolls should be the single highest priority for any game that labels itself "competitive."

Yeah their detection sucks. But they really want to avoid falsely banning players for playing bad, which is understandable. We are their means of survival after all. So if it takes a little extra time to ban trolls, I understand. Its not like it never happens. As long as you reported, that person will probably get punished in due time. (I voted yes btw. Not disagreeing with you except for the statement implying that everyone can just get away with it)

For trolling/inting/feeding, unquestionably. They are already too aggressive when it comes to chat however.

it just happened in your game, so because they didn't get insta banned = they aren't getting banned?

Can't, if they were too harsh, people would feel like they are walking on eggshells.

How do you suggest to ban trollers?

They don't want to lose more players than how they've already lost, i.e. a LOT.

But that way, on the long run, they're gonna lose even more, of course :D

riot has to be at the same time more harsher and more forgiving none is ever satisfied

I feel like once a certain amount of people report someone, the IFS should alert Riot to send a real person to look at it.

Maybe the number could be 5, because that means 5 of the 9 players (majority) feel like that person needs a ban.

yeah, i'd much rather play with someone who's gonna tell me to go "kys" or say something like "youre fucking garbage" yet still is trying their hardest to win the game. than the person who is just going to soft/hard int because they're butthurt for whatever reason. riot hasn't realized yet, we have our own tools to deal with toxic typing if its affecting performance (i.e. mute) it doesnt need to be punished. how about instead just ban the inters and let people play the game thanks [sg-ezreal]

22 upvotes and 79 "yes" votes to make Riot even MORE trigger happy?

It's only a matter of time before the only way to not get banned is to not play at all. But hey, if that's what the confused community wants...

Yeah that's the most frustrating thing while jungling, some asshole didn't like your ganking so they start following you around trying to last hit every camp. You can't do anything about it, you can't mute them and you can't ignore them. When that happens I usually just afk.

Bro I still have troll accounts that haven't been banned, riot doesn't care, they just like numbers. I've gotten someone banned after a game I trolled them in.. you think riot cares? If they did I would have been banned after that game.

gamefaceEXTREME5/24/2019, 5:39:42 AM1 votes

you do realize these people are just going to level or buy other accounts to play on anyway right? in fact, most the people who are literally trolling I ran into and talked about it were saying they did so because their main got banned. so in essence, doing this makes the problem worse.
