Why doesn't Riot ban boosted accounts?

I have reported the same boosted account 4 times, nothing has been done yet. It was painfully obvious aswell. A hard stuck plat 4 Zed main magically picks up Yi and goes on a 20 game winstreak while also using the Chinese language in those 20 games. After the boost he hasn't won a game and has lost 7 in a row. Why does riot just disregard this huge problem with the game?

Yes ok. Because you think he is boosted he must be. How do you know he is not from china? You heard of a winning streak and then losing streak? Anyways they will ban him for account sharing anyways if he really is boosted

because there needs to be hard evidence they were boosted they cant just throw the ban hammer carelessly because you could ban someone who wasnt actually boosted.

I was plat 1 at one point then I started to have really bad sleep deprivation and I was playing really bad because of it. So my dumb ass didn't get it through my head that maybe I shouldn't play ranked right now and demoted to plat 3 before I stopped and it honestly looked like I was boosted based on how well I was originally doing to losing like 10 or so game in a row all playing like complete trash.

They do punish boosters though.

Boosting is giving some one else access to your account for the express purpose of reaching a higher rank.

Sharing an account is just that and might simply be to let a friend or sibling try out the game or a chmpion they don't have.

Both are against the rules, but boosting is a specific type of sharing.

Most boosting penalties are applied at the end of the year. 2-week or perma for the account sharing, and loss of ranked rewards for trying to get something they didn't earn.
