Wondering about some of your personal input when it comes to smurfs being toxic and trolling

I'm sure this subject has come up extremely often but I'd like to know about how some of you feel when it comes to a higher ranking player playing on a smurf in ranked and expecting you to be able to play like someone at their level. For instance I just played a game in Diamond 3 mmr with one master on the other team and a challenger smurf on our team. The game was going well but there were a few miss plays on our side and every time we miss played our smurf would comment on how autistic we are how we're brainless apes and how we should see a doctor to check our brains because we're all low elo and don't know how to play as well as he does. Now I understand that it's definitely frustrating losing a game especially on a smurf if you have a high win rate but I really feel like you can't expect your team to be able to follow up on everything you do if they're diamond and you're challenger. We're at our rank for whatever reason might it be that we don't have the time to play or we haven't played for as long who knows. I have no problem with smurfing or smurfs I do it myself I just feel like you shouldn't expect the lower ranked players to play like the people you get on your main and then ruin their game with verbal statements and trolling saying things like "I don't care if I lose it's a smurf." What do you guys think?

I don't know what these platinum or gold smurfs expect to happen when they make a new account and play with level 10s. Someones going to feed, and it's probably whoever has the least amount of smurfs on their team.

Smurfs indeed ruin low level play. Players are trying to learn and someone who's play 1000s of games comes in and wrecks everyone, no chance to learn, just encourages new people to quit the game or accuse their team of feeding.

Mute at the first sign of butthurt ego.

Of ourselves they care about it. It still cost them effort to level up the account or money to buy the account. Which is illegal, but that is entirely a different subject.

They don't expect you to play like them but they expect you not to be suicidal. If they ask you to stop feeding, all you have to do is to play safely and not jumping 1v3 or 1v4 or facechecking bushes. Play safely and let them carry you, GG easy win.

I remember one time I was called boosted in a normal match by two high ranking players. I'm not even level thirty yet, so it was clearly just two people trying to help their ego. In ranked, I don't understand why someone would smurf if they're just going to be toxic about it. Here's hoping you have less of this in the future.

My first real experience of smurfing was watching a challenger player smurf. I didn't understand what it was, or why he did it at first. Then I started to see what the difference was in queue times, and how certain champs would end up banned, etc. So I began to see why someone would smurf at a high level. But I always respected that player for not using it to just beat up on the lower ranked players. He didn't BM, he didn't trashtalk, he didn't try to sit at the lower elo to feel better about himself. I think as long as it's not abused, it's not a bad thing. But I've also seen a lot of players abusing the skill difference to simply destroy the lower skill players, or to be mean, or to ruin games just because they can. I don't really like that.

lol, the smurf on your team sounds fun to play with.

Why get so mad if someone calls you a Bonobo? I don't get this offended generation.
