I play games for fun. Playing a team game in which allies die every minute or so and then strap me in for more punishment by voting no to a surrender isn't fun. And if Alt+f4 is a bannable offense when it is the only escape from that terrible ongoing experience for me then fucking do it, Riot.
Otherwise, allow us an out.
when you join a game, you are signing up to play that game out to the end, being a surrender VOTE or the nexus dies

You should stop playing then. Part of playing league, is playing with their rules. If you want to afk unpunished, then you dont wanna play with their rules. You want your own version of league, and this is not that. The game isnt for you, just find something else that allows you to leave. Theres plenty of fun games out there.
riot literally pays trolls to destroy a persons day. my entire match history has multiple unbanned trolls in each game yet i have to spend two days asking riot to lift my false perma for asking people to not feed after being locked into games with afks for 10 hours straight one day.
Find a new game then, this one isnt for you.
