Accidentally Dodging In Ranked Queues - My Problem And Proposition

Recently I've been queuing for games in the ranked solo/duo queue, and I've run into a bit of an issue. Nothing game-breaking nor a real issue from the games side, it's just that while I'm waiting for everybody to make their picks, I get fairly bored waiting. That's not much of a problem, but what happens is that I end up watching a YouTube video or doing something else on my second monitor and I forget to lock in. Unlike blind pick, I get instantly removed from the match after the time runs out and I get a ban. I know this is my fault, however it'd be nice to see at the very least an option that locks in your champion after the timer runs out. It's not like I mean to leave, it's just a bad habit.

Well, hopefully this will be taken into consideration, cause I can't be the only person who has accidentally dodged like this.

Cheers

I actually wonder why they made the change requiring people to lock in. Maybe they wanted faster champ select times?

yes we clearly need more afk players......

if you didnt hear the countdown sound effect, and it locks you in good chance you're still afk when the game loads in
