Would this be bannable?

I was in a game and i was told by a player he wants to stab me to death because i was playing nasus top lane and got countered by a garen and had a rough game to say the least, i went 1/7 and withh 177 farm in about 32 mins of game play, i was seconed most with the farm just below our adc and i had about 400 stacks. I reported him for the bm he was displaying all game and responded with thank yous for the toxic bm, but he told me he was going to screen shot the game stats and send ti to riot to have me permabanned, i wasn't toxic kept a level head and just played the game to the best i could. he also told me him and his duo reported me for verbal abuse and that my reports would go un-noticed because there were more reports on me then them, is this a thing or is just stupid trash that people say?

Everyone has bad games, and Riot isn't going to punish you for performing poorly. What, however, isn't unacceptable is another player threatening you. If this happens, you'll want to take a screenshot of the chat (if you don't manage to get a screenshot, no problem; Riot has the chat logs) and send it to Riot Games Player Support in the form of a ticket. They'll be able to investigate it further and pass any relevant information to law enforcement if necessary. I'm sorry that you had this experience, and hopefully this cleared up some of your concerns.

Counter-reporting has absolutely no effect on the weight or validity of yours, and his false report will just make Riot laugh at him.

Get Rito's best client, the trolls who get other players punished while trolling them, put in jail. Their stocks would plummet 50% from the income loss, lol.

To the OP - if what you're saying is true (and you didn't respond back with toxicity) then you won't be punished at all. He's also completely making up that rule about your report not counting because his and his friend's reports outnumbered yours. That's not how it works.

All I have to say is that it sounds like he wanted to get under your skin, and from the looks of it, he did. My best advice would be to ignore people like that. I get those kinds of people in almost every other match. It is annoying, but YOU are in control of what you say and what you do. Just don't type back. That's what I do when I do terrible.
