Getting Chat Banned While the People Who Flamed You First Go Unpunished

I played a few games recently where I admit I wasn't the most levelheaded player. I never flame or argue with other players unless they trash talk me or argue with me first. I was honor 4 and I just got chat banned the other day and from what I hear It's damn near impossible to climb back up to honor 2 from honor 1 so I'm kinda salty. In all 3 games they showed me logs for as the reason for my getting banned one of my teammates is the one that started flaming me first either spam pinging me after I asked them to stop or telling me to go f**k myself etc. I never used profanity although I did call a few people trash. I reported them after each game and I assume they reported me as well. I never got a report feedback so I assume they got off scott free. I understand I shouldn't call teammates trash or flame but I'm just confused as to how they get no punishment when they called me trash and flamed me first.

Report feedback isn't consistent unfortunately - just because you didn't get a popup doesn't mean they weren't punished.

The system punishes based on consistency x severity. Every time you are reported, the system assigns a toxicity score tp you game, depending on severity. No toxicity = 0 pts. Assume it takes 100 pts to get a punishment, the following scenario can exsist;

  • Player1 started the game with a behavioral history of 95 points
  • Player2 started the game with 40 pts.
  1. Player1 flamed player2 a bit
  2. player2 burst into a rage of flame.
  3. Both are reported at the end of the game.
  • Assuming the system assigned
  • 5 pts to player1's toxicity
  • 50pts to player2's toxicity,

In the above scenario, player1 will get punished in that game while player2 will not be punished.

Also, while player2 won't get punished immediately in that game, player1's report was still a massive contribution towards getting player2 punished. If player2 keeps up his toxicity, it won't take long before he gets punished.

I'm actually more concerned about your recent consistency in toxicity.

If you managed to hit h4, it means that you previously have been able to show consistent neutral-positive behavior.

But seeing you were shown 3 games in your reform card means that you've recently had a spike in consistent toxicity.

If you are able to identify why you've suddenly increased your toxicity and fix that, you should be able to get back into h2 before summer ends.

Don't post your logs.. not relevant. You accept you flamed.. and that is why you got the punishment.

1.) When a player is punished not everyone who reported them gets notification. Its just the way it is.

2.) Who cares.. worry about you.. not what happened to the other guy.. Make sure you never end up in this position again.

full transparency. It is truly my greatest point of happiness when I can be soft toxic... get someone else to rage.. and report them and have it be valid. lol

Hey dude you should feel lucky. I'm currently Honor 0 from an unfixed bug and our lovely Riot Support team doesn't give 2 shits.

Update: It took 2 months but hey, I finally worked my way back up to honor 2. I've been making an effort to not type anything in chat unless it's positive and honoring someone every game.

This game is beyond ridiculous when it comes to reporting. Fact is that when people act like giant jerks, then get people to report in all chat Riot doesn't care. They just place the auto ban. Of course riot doesn't show anything they said that I was responding to, wouldn't want to actually look at who instigates anything. This is a world that only wants the easy way out so all these kids with keyboard courage don't get their feelers too hurt that way they spend mom and dad's money. This is what I got banned for, essentially for not just sitting back and being the victim, well worth it I guess:
