An Observation and a Question
So This might just be my limited viewpoint. Disclosure: just curious about others' experiences and opinions as to the community's "sportsmanship" health
I feel like there are still tons of people that don't care about the punishment system. Even with new honor system, more bans, rumors of a better troll tracker coming, I've been surprised to see the number of people "crossing the line" in my games to have increased rather than decreased. Not necessarily just in frequency, but in severity.
It used to be I'd mainly just see people fighting in game a lot. There'd be some back and forth pettiness blah blah. I'd read more about incidents of people telling you to kys or cancer wishes etc than I'd actually seen them. This week I reported an overwhelming majority of my games allies and enemies alike. Not for petty small things, but straight up death threats, kys, berating rants that go racial, and even 2 or three people for their names. Their NAMES.
I've filed 1 report before this week in years of league for someone's name. Not "%%%%%" or anything but some shit where if you're from the south and you read it you'd be like Dave Chapelle reaction: "Damn, that was really racist"
So whats the deal? lol Anyone else feel like there was a small breathe of fresh air while people were getting honor awards and then after enough people got it or gave up most said fuk it? XD Has it gotten worse for you? The same? Better?
