I was given a chat restriction for calling someone out for int feeding?

I don't understand this game, someone can INTENTIONALLY feed and shit talk all they want but they don't get punished, only the people they target get banned? I actually tried my best to carry all game, and even if I did insult him (which I didn't, I never threw out names or called him anything) why do I get the ban? He ruined the game for four people, and all I did was vent my frustration by calling him on it. Apparently Riot's policy is to "mute and ignore" but you can't stop an int feeder who follows you and steals cs and feeds your laner by muting them, and if that's their policy why can't this int feeder just mute me if he doesn't want to see letters in chat? Why? Because he doesn't want to mute others, he wants to draw reports and abuse the system because he KNOWS he's being toxic verbally AND WORSE upsetting people by ruining the game. The system is broken.

So here's what happened: In champ select, our jungler started shit talking teammates (maybe he didn't get his role and was trying to draw a dodge?), and when they said they would just ignore him in-game and mute, he switch off of Smite/Flash and onto Ghost/Teleport.

In game, he int fed level 1, then followed our riven around stealing all her farm, died to her laner, and continued to follow her around until she ragequit, then noc afkd for 8 minutes, and when we voted /noff, he would leave base ONLY to ult enemy champs trying to KS, or ult into enemy champs under their tower to feed more. He built speed5 boots and zeal to run to feed faster and went 0/9.

Again, I never "insulted him" or called him "mean names." I only responded to what he was actually doing in game. I don't understand this at all.

No. What you did is unacceptable by Riots standards you must let him troll/int/flame your game and take it like a good boy. Anything you say to him IS TOXIC and will make the poor guy feel bad.

Honestly, riot should just remove the chat from game since the way their chat rules go:

  • You can't say anything negative regardless of the reason or you can be banned

  • You can't defend yourself in anyway or you could be banned, you have to mute your chat.

  • You will be banned for asking someone to stop something since that is hostile. Regardless of how you word it.

Several others but the point is still there. One of the biggest problems I do see is that riots method of catching and banning people is ban everyone if they so much as say anything bad or anything that can be seen as bossy(even though one of the honors is shotcalling/leading which you can be reported for?). Heck my last game the jg kept afking,mid kept running away from fights,top would not show up to fights, and my support kept throwing the enemies onto me yet I had to sit there and take it since If I said anything too much I would risk them all reporting me and getting a chat restriction or worse.

Which brings up why don't they just remove chat from the game and make it so anyone who wants to talk needs to do it in custom games or a voice chat? That way no one can flame/troll anyone and no one else can feel harass. And everyone upset about inting will not be able to say in chat and will be forced to report after game. Everyone wins.

We all get toxic teammates, but that doesn’t mean it’s ok to constantly berate them. It’s difficult to say that when compared with what Noct has done during the game, but understand that your chat is only adding to the toxicity in the game.

The video you shared does contain the players’ name, and is thus against the naming and shaming board rules.

Riot facilitates the behavior of int trolls. It's the reason Dunkey doesn't play anymore. He made this video back in 2015 documenting THIS EXACT PROBLEM that I had, back in 2015, and its clearly STILL happening!

I agree with this guy . How is inting legal (not getting banned ) but saying the F-ing idiot is inting , is a banaable offense . not gonna lie there are inters in a lot of games , and if they moderated a this the same way they did chats , we would have a lot less toxic accounts . its ez to turn off chat if it bothers you that people are calling you out for inting . no not going 1/5 ina game . but when people go 1/5 before 5 minutes in you know that guy istrying to get a iron division account .
