Unfair 14- day suspension

Ok so, let me say this; I am an honor 5 and i usually never get mad enough to really continue being toxic; I try my best to just forget about it. Unfortunately for just this one time, i accidentally vented my anger through the chat and it resulted in me getting a 14 -day suspension without anything like a chat restriction or any type of warning. Now, before u go start judging me, I do take full responsibility for the words i say, but to be far, i wasn't the only one that vented my anger. The game in question was a solo/duo ranked game, in which me and my friend were duo jungle and top respectively. Within the game, it was even, but then, after dying once, our bot lane (presumed to be duo queue because of the club) DC at around 5 minutes approx. I didn't think much of it until 5 minutes later, they still didn't comeback. Now, by this time, the midlaner (not me or my friend) started to vent out his anger in chat. Then my friend and I did say something about the situation in all chat. Finally, after 8 minutes of being DC, the bot lane reconnected, but then went to AFK, not leaving the game. This is when I did say some vulgar words by accident, as I was very frustrated not only from this. but also from previous games. The problem is, I wasn't the only one who said vulgar words. My friend and the other player (mid laner) also exchanged words of intensity. Even more frustrating, the bot lane tried to play dumb and say they were having problems, but clearly, their actions in game said otherwise (FYI they were not DC and were trolling by staying in base and moving around to avoid leaverbuster. Also, the very few times they actually did play the game showed no points or evidence of lag/connection issues). Toward the end, some more words were exchanged between our whole team and although I did say some words, FIRST, I was not the only one that said such harsh words. SECOND, i believe what I said wasn't as bad as it was. For instance, if it was really lag issues or connection problems, it would be fair to say i shouldn't have said that, but to be fair, they were trolling and the situation called for something to be said to them. Honestly, I think when ushering these suspensions or bans, they need to look at the actual game and see if some of the words said could be made just because of the situation in which others were making gameplay worse for the team and didn't care about how the rest of the team felt. In short, I feel that this suspension was unfair and that at least a warning should be issued as this is my first "offense." Please, if a riot employee is reading, please make the right call and at least give me a chat restriction rather than a suspension right off the bat. Please, if you really do care about your players, please do the right thing. P.S. If you want to look the game up, go to OP.GG Summoner Name: KaoJ Region: NA (Check the most recent ranked game (jarvan IV) and you can see the stats for the game) Please, somebody, anybody, I don't deserve this. Thank You

If you said the following:

  • n'gger
  • f'ggot
  • c'nt
  • ky.s
  • anything that has %%%%

You're always guaranteed either a 14 days suspension or permanent suspension. Honor has absolutely 0 involvements in whether it gives you a "mercy coating" from punishments or not. You should be glad this was just a temporary suspension. Watch what you say next time, cz the next punishment will be your last.

One, Riot SUCKS. Two, =\ sorry for you. Please disable your 'Enter' key now before you get a permaban. Not even joking, look at some of my past posts. I would be 100% happier if Riot just got rid of chat completely. IT is stupid to have chat and then punish 'normal' players. I have never received an official punishment in game. But I consider myself normal (also honor5), but I am scared to use the chat feature too. You hear these stories of people getting banned. Some of them are terrible, but some are borderline.

don't get me wrong. I am grateful to Riot for the game. (But I could also just play another game if I wanted. )

I just think Riot is going too far with the chat bans. When as a normal user I am scared of possible punishment. Everyone has moments.

Three, The AFK duo has ZERO NO REASON, ZERO reason to try. Even if your team wins, they lose LP. Why would you expect them to try. You lost the game the instant they disconnected. It is a stupid system. Riot needs to fix it.

If they went AFK and you were LP protected, would you be angry? Probably, but not as angry. You would be grateful the system protected you. If they went AFK and could still win back LP, would they try? Maybe a little. All I can say for sure is they would at least have more reason, instead of the guaranteed punishment regardless of win or loss.

I wish Riot would fix the AFK problem in the game. And people need to stop defending it.

I completely understand what you are experiencing as I am going through this exact unfairness myself at the moment. Why not give a chat restriction? but no, the unfair system decides to instantly ban the players. Why can't they just give a 1 week Chat ban, then 1 month? Won't it benefit the community even more? So they won't hear toxicity? It is very easy to get triggered in a team based video game so toxicity in inevitable. So just chat ban us instead of banning the player.

Can you simply put your chat logs up. Its just guessing w/o them, not helping you this way.
