When you get a kill because your jungler ganks should it be your kill or the junglers.

So if a jungler ganks a lane and the team gets a kill because of it, should the jungler let the laner last hit and get the kill, or should the laner let the jungler last hit and get the kill? As a player who mostly plays lanes and gets autofilled jungle a lot for some reason I was just curious.

This is why assists are a thing.

you are talking about tax? you should take the lane farm only if you are carry oriented jungler graves/nidalee/khazix/rengar etc etc ie gold accelerated xp accelerated junglers and especially if you are playing with a tank laner

now if you are playing something like a mage or a riven top and your amumu comes and ganks and then takes your cs he is griefing you regardless if the gank went well

for example i was playing swain and my jungler was WW he comes burns flash forces a recall and i have a really strong freeze going for me which will get me atleast a 30cs lead because the enemy laner couldn't break it then the ww proceeded to fear the minions take every last hit away from me smite the enemy cannon minion and leave a freeze for the enemy since he couldn't push fast enough this was a complete grief and put me 2 levels behind eventually

your laners if they main the lane will tell you usually when they want you to help them push and you should consider at that point the above case if you will do better with the gold or him and leave/take the cs accordingly

It depends on who would do more with the gold

As an agressive jungler, playing Lee and Rek, I prefer the kill going to me since I can then have a bigger influence on all the lanes.

If im playing a more support jungler like sej or amumu, I usually give the kills to the laner.

At the end of the day, its usually the person who can do more with the gold, ie the carries, are far more likely to get the last hit and it usually isnt worth risking the enemy escaping.

Oh... and I always jungle tax [slayer-jinx-wink]

when i gank. if the laner is behind you should let the laner have the kill. otherwise take it

Short answer: it depends. Medium answer: who contributed most to making it happen, they're probably the better player this game and need gold to continue to facilitate kills. Long answer: It depends on a lot.

That said, if you give away too many kills to help allies catch up, you'll find yourself with a 1/1/20 loss. If you see an ally actively hold a skill to last hit, do not give them kills as they are unable to get them anyway.

  1. Draaaaaven
  2. Carry jungler ganking a tank/utility
  3. You if close to item breakpoints(power spike)
  4. your laner when close behind
  5. Tank junglers when carry cant finish the job ....
  6. The minions
