Having an afk teammate in ranked is terrible. My idea is if a teammate goes afk in the middle of the game everyone who isn't afk should be given less of a punishment if they lose. Like losing 3 lp, like how when you dodge you lose 3 lp as well.
This initially sounds good, but it would incentivize "convincing" someone to go AFK.
And you'd also have to deal with LP inflation sending everyone up into challenger, or you'd have to deal with opponents going AFK to screw you out of winning LP.
Only if you WIN 3 lp to compensate. Are you okay with winning 3 lp because someone take one for the team or want to screw the enemy team by going afk?
The one who goes afk should lose double lp, problem solved
I get afk's every other game, its impossible to climb up from silver this season, i was gold last season but this season it doesnt matter if im 16-3 or 0-4, its just impossible
