I know the 20-minute penalty has been a thing for awhile, but can they just do it differently? For example, CS:GO has a penalty too, but it's a 30-minute matchmaking cooldown. I was wondering if LoL could have that so we don't have to queue up 5 times just to get rid of it. I'd rather wait 1 hour and 40 minutes in one sitting than to wait 20 minutes in five sittings.
Yes, but the point of the penalty is exactly to be not good for you, and you have to do something you would rather NOT :D

Being forced to put a timer on one day while you go play something else is hardly a punishment though. It's meant to be annoying, not convenient.
