I Cannot Fault RIot for Avoiding Their Forums Like the Plague

Almost anything said in defense or approval of their actions and decisions is usually met with immediate negativity. Whether posted by a representative of riot or a simple volunteer granted moderator status.

The minority of league players who bother frequenting the forums are comprised of some of the most angry and self-entitled individuals in the game. And Riot ignoring the small angry and hateful voice that infests the forums just so they can focus their energy and resources on being constructive and creative is a good thing.

And if you honestly think me mistaken then let me ask you something. If you could go about your life actively avoiding people who would scream obscenities and negativity at you directly, wouldn't you?

Just like permabanning accounts wihout blinking an eye. People who spent years and money on the game are robbed of their time and money, where is their justice? Right on of course riot ignores robbing players blind.

If it was my job I wouldn't have a choice. But then again I have a spine and a back bone, and I'm not sensitive or upset and hurt by what other people think or say. So what's your point? That Riot doesn't do it's job and lack the back bone to stand up to their own customer base? I agree.

The issue is that people forget Riot is a business. You can't just have employees going on the forums replying to people willy Billy becauase it turns into a PR nightmare. Anything a Rioter would say would be used against them and/or treated as the word of God.

"Oh, Rioter X said we'd get our refund token soon...WHY HASN'T THAT HAPPENED YET. FUCK THIS COMPANY."

In terms of raw behaviour and communication you are certainly right. There are good things about Riot Games that end up being undermined by the angry part of the community.

That said, Riot in terms of their game in itself have been putting in very little creativity and ressources to make the game more balanced. Most notorious streamers even quit playing LoL over the balancing choices alone and almost every new patch is another meme because it causes one champ to become utterly broken.

This is a very double edged topic. There are certain good parts about Riot Games. Their Game's balancing status or any effort towards it are however NOT part of that list. Matter of fact they did admit that they took some of the better dev staff members away to focus on the other games.
