Went into a game and while the game was loading my internet disconnected and I didn't have internet for 10 minutes, when I could connect to internet again I saw that my team had done a remake and I got lower priority queue, how is that fair? Is there a chance that a RIOT member can remove it? It's only 5 minutes but still.
Riot does not adjust leaver penalties. Leaver penalties are issued to any account that crosses a certain "threshold" of "leaves" in a certain amount of time. The system does not differentiate between a "valid" leave versus an "invalid" leave - there is simply no way for Riot to know you lost your internet connection versus you intentionally disconnected it.
If you are getting a Leaver penalty, it means it isn't your first leave. If you are having problems frequently enough for Riot to give you a low priority queue, that is a sign that your problems are happening too frequently to be considered "rare" or a "fluke" - and thus you need to fix them or ensure they will not happen before playing more League.
Your internet problems may not be your fault, but they're not your team's problem.
If you got the low priority queue, then you have had connection problems (or have left games) for more than one game. You will not get a penalty for one instance of AFK or leaving.
Look at all the threads demanding that AFKs be punished more harshly. Good thing they didnt get their way. At least its just a LPQ and not a ban like these unreasonable people suggest.
Okay idk what kind of connection you are using, but if you have ethernet cable, use that. Wired connection is more stable than wireless. I've been having several games with people who have 100+ ping and it's because of their internet connection being bad. I used to have bad internet connection too and wired connection isn't 100 percent perfect, but it's a whole lot better than wireless. I had an eve jungle who could have just afked and would have done better for the team. they spent most of the game walking stupidly in circles in the jungle because they were lagging and couldnt do anything but would keep dying to enemy jungler when he invades.
