I got a 10 game chat ban for asking the enemy team to report our Yasuo, who was flaming at us in team chat in all caps and for again asking the enemy team to report a Soraka, who was spending a majority of the game writing a novel whilst having a nice dance under tower while we had our "team" fights.

I'm not even upset (10 games of draft is like a day or two maximum) I'm just curious why I was the one getting a penalty when I was just doing my civil duty for the community by trying to bring actual rule breakers under the spotlight. I could understand if I was flaming back at them, but the entire time I was trying to deescalate the situation; even going as far as to say "its okay we can come back". If someone could explain the logic here I'd greatly appreciate it.

Your civic duty is to shut the hell up and play the game. If you can't do that, do us all a favor and find another game to play.

When we have a shitfuck of a Yasuo on our teams we don't want someone else Reeeeeeee-ing about Reports and derailing the game more.

I'm really gonna miss player behavior section. People getting deserved bans complaining about it and wondering why they were punished.

Chat restrictions are the mildest form of punishment in an effort to deter you from certain behaviors. Calling for reports and encouraging toxic chat is likely what led to your punishment. People do not want to play a game where two members continuously bicker between one another, especially since this could be fixed if either one of them would mute the other.

This is not factored into your punishment. Would you like to get a punishment just because you were behaving fine while your teammates were behaving great?

That doesn't do shit. Reports don't stack. One does the same as four or nine. Bringing people into the spotlight for negative attention is just harassment that distracts from the game that other people are trying to play.

Because theres no reason to ask for reports and usually derails the game more. One report flags a review. More than one report flags a review. They do the same ass thing. So often times when i see someone asking for reports, its followed by the person theyre antagonizing arguing back and now i got two douchebags in chat arguing over who is toxic, instead of focusing on the game. So just report them from now on. No need to go to chat about it.
