What can I do for my own health? And to avoid getting banned?

There's a point in here somewhere. I'll try to summarize:

Horrible day. Horrible week. Lot going on in real life, of course. Sometimes gaming manages to reduce the stress of that. Today I am on an 8 game losing streak. Half of those games had excessive pingers / passive-aggressive supports / trolls, etc. I almost can't take it. It is so easy to lash out in game because of all of this building and building. I mean, I don't play this game to lose. But I also know that a troll popping up in my 9th or 10th game, or underperforming again and then saying something in chat would be me projecting onto the team.

I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations on ways to reduce the stress of what should be a fun experience, or ways to cool off in between. I rarely get like this while gaming but it does happen every now and then.

Find a different way to relieve stress? I know some people like to exercise or knit or similar stuff. I cook when I’m upset and that helps with my stress levels a lot. League can be fun but if you’re worried it’s stressing you out more, try and branch out a bit if you can.

Is taking a few weeks off from the game an option? I swap to single player games when League stress meshes poorly with RL stress.

Here's what I do to cool off. I listen to relaxing music while playing, and if I get stressed, finish the game and then take maybe a 20-30 minute break. Take a walk around your neighborhood, or play some other game that WILL NOT STRESS YOU OUT. Simple games like tetris or sketch league can go a long way in calming you down. Also, try to keep the 3 strike rule. If you lose 3 ranked games in a row or close to it, stop playing ranked. Get some friends and fuck around in normals.

They make these things called TV bricks, its a foam brick get a bunch and just throw them into your monitor as hard as you can.

Step one - disable allchat Step two - /fullmute all Step three - mute all emotes in your team Step four - play your best uninterrupted by your 4 team chipmunks Step five - make txt file on oyur desktop, name it "feeder toxic afk troll pick no communication lane stealing" Step six - dont honor anyone after end of the game Step seven - click the txt file once, wait, click it second time and press ctrl+C Step eight - report all 9 players for negative, feeding and afk, press ctrl+V in the add information field Step ten - play again

Do not play LoL to chill. This is almost the worst thing you can do :D

Or go PvE, where you can rekt the bots without any trouble :D

i would advise not playing PvP games with you're emotionally compromised....

it never ends well, stick to bots or a single player game
