Trolls vs Flamers vs AFKers

It is just lovely how Rito's punishment system works.

In my last game we had a Jax jungler, who instantly ragequit after gettin' killed once by the enemy Udyr. After this point the mid Veigar said open mid and started running around the map, basically inting (contributing nothing to fights, just overextending lane and dying), even admitted it in chat multiple times. Later Jax came, back, but Veigar stated that he wont carry a kid, so he kept trolling. (Ps.: We could have still won the game if veigar starts playing)

Thanks to our great Rito, NONE of these players were punished, because ragequit and trolling (even admitting it in chat) are "just bad games". But if anyone dares to say anything bad to these guys, they will get punished....

I'm just wondering, shouldn't we treat the sickness (trolls/inters) instead of the symptoms (flaming)?

Ps.: I did not get punished in this game, since i know how fckin broken the flaming detection system is. But it feels bad to see, that all these idiots are left to troll around, but if you say anything against them you will get punished. Why is this good for anybody?

It's in order of what's easiest to detect.

Well, when you don't type, you pay more attention to the game. It is good for everybody. Did I answer your question?

AFK/rage quit gets punished, same as people with connection issues. We've seen several complaints about reconnecting and winning the game only to lose LP regardless. It's the easiest to detect and punished, even easier to detect than chat.

How do you know someone ragequit? Just because they died once and left does not mean they ragequit.

That being said, AFKfarming is detected and punished, but it may take manual review to confirm the punishment. Just because you don’t see evidence of a punishment immediately doesn’t mean their behavior is not being detected.
