Low Priority Queue For 20 Minutes; 5 Games

I recently got put into the low priority queue for 5 games, and 20 minutes wait time for each. It's really disappointing and the only reason I'm writing a forum about it now and not in the past for my 5 minute, 10 minute, and 15 minute penalties is because this time I actually did nothing stupid/unfair. Whilst in my loading screen when the game was about to start, my computer decided to update Windows. It finally finished after who knows how long, and I log onto league to know I got penalized. It's really frustrating because if you sum up the minutes it would be 100 minutes + the amount of time I'd have to actually wait in the queue for a match. Is there actually anything I could do about it?

Here's the thing - Riot does not and can not know why you disconnected, they can only see that you did. Allowing exceptions would just allow serial AFKers to skate through with even less punishment than they get right now.

It blows, hard, but there's literally no other option.

You DO NOT get 20 minutes LPQ for one game. You would first have to go through a few "forgiving" warnings that you only have to type "I understand", then you would have to go through 5 minutes LPQ, before you finally arrived at 20 minutes LPQ.

Tell me, how many minutes * 9 people time did you wasted?

I got tired of waiting and just made a second account No reason to spend an extra hour and a half staring at the menu

You don't go up a punishment tier for one game -- it takes several. I understand that you are not discussing the other 3 punishments, but just for this ones means you left/afked more than once to merit the 20 minute punishment AFTER going through your 15 minute one.

Secondly it's your job to control when windows updates. That's not really a valid excuse you can set a timer for when you want it done and besides it forewarns you before going through an update with the option to delay it.

How about for this stupid logs when or during the game, and when you come back the game is over because your team voted to surrender? This is very ridiculous. I love playing **DOTA ** than LOL more because of this stupid no basis rules. This happens to me several times, several times!

Recently I went into a ranked game and while we are all loading League Of Legends decided to kick me out to restart because of the Season 8 patch. I am really disappointed because of how the system works 20mins is to long. Just lower it down to 10 mins. Please Riot
