Whenever you get in a game, you always get 1 aggressive player who legit verbal harass everyone thinking they are the god of the rift, or attack their own team for X reason I will never understand and it make me wonder why we still have the chat .. pings/emotes are more than enought. Chat cause more issues than it solves. I just don't get it.. Why people are aggressives like this ?
Its a competitive game, so that behavior is expected.
If I sense negativity coming from someone I usually mute their chat and pings very immediately so I don't get subjected to it for the rest of the game.

Except the frequency of insufferable %%%%s is the same in all multiplayer games. Negativity bias is just stronger in League because you're stuck with those insufferable %%%%s for far longer
Part of this is a result of the game design.
Look at this way. Game is fine. It's just that the community is cancer. There are toxic people in the game. Then there are toxic people who go out of the way to personally attack in the board.
1: After 8 years League still cant add Voice chat in game to reduce toxicity and make comms 10000% better 2: League Punish system make people even more toxic 3: People dont know to use the Mute button properly 4: Most of times Toxic people are the people who wanna win the most while others ints/play bad/destroy the game, because games can only be destroyed by game-plays/inters/team-play not by typing in chat.
League environment makes people toxic, coz of unfair games/matchmakings/ranking system etc, i am a very calm person IRL and other games but Leagues make me so toxic sometimes only for the fact that i really care

It's one of the most popular games in the world, not surprisingly toxic people show up, toxicity exists in pretty much any competitive game but it just seems to happen more in a game like LoL because of how many people play it
Hell while trying to teach my brand new friend the game through some bot matches earlier this week I ran into some entitled, salty kid even there. Probably some 12 year old who feels entitled to something despite the fact it's literally a bot game, or some troll pretending to be that (here's hoping it's a troll and not someone who actually feels entitled over a freakin bot match). I honestly would just choose to ignore/mute them and keep going.
It's just a natural state of being. Counter their aggression with submission.
Attacking other players IS the reason. Some people are just shit... They dont have anything better to do than try to make others suffer for their own sick amusement.
They tell someone to suck a dick and uninstall, call them trash, insult their intelligence all so they can report someone who calls them an asshole, or trash, or stupid back. Getting someone punished for reacting to their trolling is their ultimate goal.
