Hello, I recently had a player in my game that was placed support and said mid or feed. No one answered so he just picked tristana for support role. I had no choice but to dodge but I was in my promos and this dodge caused me to lose my promo. What should have I done? and how can I report this player?.

Don't bother, they barely punish anyone, the report system is 99% to relieve frustration
Honestly, you should have just played it if you were in your promos. Might as well play and maybe win than dodge and guarantee the promo loss. You could submit a support ticket but there technically isn't proof that they trolled. Tristana support isn't considered troll until play confirms it. At worse they commited a chat offense for the threat.
Damn, you dodged a promo? Thats an automatic loss. You should have played it and then reported them after game.
