Hey, I played a norms game recently, and within this game I was flamed far more than I have ever been flamed before in my history of playing this game. I'll admit that game wasn't a shining example of my skill but i tried my best into a challenging match up and unfortunately ended up feeding. Now I know that this is normal behavior for the community of this game, to flame in this situation, but until now I have never faced such a vicious onslaught of verbal abuse directed towards me. I attempted to reason with them, even restrained myself from from cussing so as to make it seem that I just wanted to resolve their issue and enjoy the game that we all got into queue for. But despite my efforts they only continued to grow even more toxic as time went on. All over a normal game with no stakes involved. Afterwards I at least took solace that if people like this were in the game it must be a normal thing for them to be so rude, and hurtful. They had a wide variety of insults too so I figured it was commonplace for them to use them. Such lovely things as , "waking up was your first mistake", and "your mother should have swallowed you", and the classic requests to uninstall. And because of this being normal I could report it and hope that it wouldn't continue much longer. After logging back in later though I realized that it was ME who received the chat restriction rather than the people who made that game a miserable experience for me. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this and if so could we bring it up to the people who run the ban/restriction section of league. I truly feel that I was being punished simply for defending myself, and that those who are the examples of toxic teammates are let of with no repercussions.

I'll post my chat log below in case anyone wants to verify my claims of attempting to be decent, I really hope that someone sees this and can help me out a bit. I know its not a very big deal to lose honor level and chat for ten games. But to receive it simply for defending myself against truly toxic players is a cruel joke. I feel that if the system allows this to happen it is in need of some change, and I would appreciate hearing anyone else's experiences that may be similar to mine.

So you knew they lost because you fed darius (where not intentionally darius still did get fed off you) then you asked them if you could afk, instead of being one to soak it up and keep trying to win. You knew full well what you were picking when you picked an off meta champ top, and where thats fine to pick that champ you dont get the right to ditch if it doesnt work out for you. You said you were picking the champ to have fun not to win thats why you did it normals and not ranked. Then why when you got stompped in lane you wanted to afk? Seems contradictory.

Now for the reason of your punishment from my experience and what i know to believe riot's banning system theres a couple keywords you used: Docklan: youre gonna get reported for thjis you know that right? Now you didnt ask for reports but i doubt riot's system catches phrases i feel it catches individual words and the word "reported" can trigger the system.

Docklan: game is over If Riot's system can catch phrases they'd consider this as giving up or not trying anymore and so that could lead to another trigger of the system.

Docklan: he told me to uninstall after a bad game You repeated what they told you now putting their words in your chat messages which if it does trigger the system itll trigger on you as well

Docklan: when darius builds trinity hes fine but when i try to when im behind i get flamed Tip: When you're behind build defenses not dmg. If you wanted a spell blade proc iceborn gauntlets would've been a better option.
