I'm confused. Is this a bug? Is there any way to find out why I'm banned?

I've played since Wukong was the newest champ. I own every champ and a number of skins. I've tried to get out of Silver, but never quite managed. Been on a streak lately and thought maybe I would make it this season. Took a little break this weekend and played the new PvE game mode some.

I logged in tonight, and discovered I can't play any games because I'm banned. I didn't see any notification upon login, and I haven't afaik received any communication from Riot about it via email.

I've never been chat restricted, so I assume this was in response to a report and the automated system saw something in my gameplay that it didn't like. Do I have any recourse at all? Is there anything I can do. I know everybody thinks this, but I've made every effort to be a model player and teammate, and I can't imagine anything I did that is ban worthy.

If it could be pointed out what I did wrong, I would welcome the opportunity to learn from a mistake how I can behave better as a player.

If you're banned for gameplay, the games that they banned you for are usually given to you.

It's possible that you got a shield ban. Meaning, Riot locked the account because they suspect that it was compromised. You need to contact support to get more information and ask what's going on in such a case.

did you try submitting a ticket to riot support?

Thank you for the quick responses! I have not submitted a ticket to support, I'll do that now. I was honestly so surprised, I didn't even think to do that.
