I just played 3 matches. The first game my adc (ash) didnt know how to play, i just dont know how he end up in that game. The second game my mid left the game and we lost again. The thrid game I was support and had a try like adc, to sum up we lost again (not a surprise). This is a cool game but when you had those kinds of teammates, you just want to throw your computer away. I better play Xbox

Listen.. I concur this. I used to think ranked was too much pressure last year... Then I started playing in it and realized people troll more in ranked than in normals sometimes. I'm a support main and have been juggling from silver VI to III 3x!!! I win a match then lose 3. Because in EVERY GAME one or more of my teammates is either:

a. trolling.

b. feeding.

c. new at the game and somehow is in silver tier.

d. all of the above.

Honestly though... as a SUPPORT, to win a game is a 50/50 chance. Its a 50% chance youre going to end up in the winning team. If you're a decent support and not feeding. So maybe I'm just having bad luck getting into the wrong teams. But it also makes me feel like the matchmaking system puts decent players mixed with not so decent ones on purpose sometimes, so the climb isnt easily obtained.

Well you are only level 40 and playing norms.[sg-lulu] Many use that for pure practice before ranked. Learning new positions so on. If you want everyone to be try hard go into ranked see where you place and go from there. But I am not sure what you are looking for out of norms. Even I just use them to practice try builds and champs. Expecting them to be all try hard in norms is pointless.

No, you need to stop playing leona and play someone that can carry or be the heart of the team. Support is going to get you no where in low elo. Especially supports like soraka janna leona so on that do not have huge game changing ulti without a team behind them. The fact you get mad at advice might just show you are the problem not your team. I carried myself up using annie at first. I am still climbing and when I hit a wall I will try something different again. Complain about your team all you want that ain't going to change how they play. Leaves you with one option and that is your own game play.

The matchmaking has been kind of off. I was doing ranked and started in iron but kept getting put against bronze. While my sister on her new account at level 27 keeps getting level 100+ players, or gold to platinum players in her game(usually on the other team). Might be a bug but something is off.

You CAN carry as support. I do it all the time. Get vision, push objectives, direct your team (non-stop). People will accuse you of flaming or toxic if you're constantly saying things like "do dragon....do dragon...do dragon...do dragon." Problem is, it's 100% not flaming/toxic to remind someone after they get a kill to take an objective, especially at low elo.

With that said, this IS 100% the problem. MMR is broken. I will accept that I will probably continue to need to remind people to take objectives forever, but to be put on a team with someone who doesn't understand the game after winning 7 games in a row is a clear sign that the MMR system is broken.

I suspect (with evidence, anecdotal perhaps) that the system places people on the climb with people on the fall to "balance" teams. So someone who was 900 and winning might be at 1000, and someone who was 1100 and is losing might be at 1000. Those are NOT the same quality of players. Yes, the numbers don't mean anything here, just showing the obvious difference in a clear way.
