Banned when I messed around for remake/surrender because our team mate said he had to go

Never usually int really. We were playing 4v5 with no toplaner and you could say the game was over. So I thought there was not much point to try lane considering top is going to just go through towers. Here is where I was wrong, a game later and I get banned for intentional feeding because one of my team mates got upset. Which i understand, but we had an afk really so I'm not sure what we could have done. May I add, this was a Normal Game and it wasn't like i affected anyones rank (I would have tried if it was ranked regardless of afk). So I just want to hear your thoughts, was I in the wrong for wanting to go in the next game for a game that was almost certainly lost? Or perhaps should I have stuck through to most likely also lose? Edit: For some reason we couldn't remake.

Regardless of game mode or reason why there is no excuse to intentionally throw the game away. Even if you're a man down it is still possible to win the game through teamwork and strategy.

Always best to just play it out until the surrender vote. Your game didn't end until 21 minutes in anyway, so it's not like you sped it along.

What you could have done was play the game out. You don't get a free pass to do whatever just because one person is AFK.

So the rules shouldn't apply just because it's a Normal?

Absolutely. It doesn't matter if it's a Normal Game, Ranked game, or Co-Op Vs. AI, you play the game out. It doesn't matter if you have an AFK, an intentional feeder, or a troll, you play the game out. Those are the rules you signed up for.

Or perhaps should I have stuck through to most likely also lose?

See above.
