Will I get perma banned for this?

Lately I feel like ive been too toxic to my team, and Im not happy about that. Today I feel like ive crossed the line when I started a draft pick and got assinged bot (i picked mid/top). I asked for the mid role but got denied, so I just picked Ahri and wrote in the chat "i go mid". They all said that they will report me, and i regret what i did but im afraid that im gonna get perma banned now. Im kinda new to league so please help me, How does one get perma banned? Is there any other form of ban? If i stop being toxic will i be "safe"? I really dont want to get banned as I have spent money on my acc. and im not really loaded with money.

You won't get perma'd for a first punishment, egregious things will get you a 14-day. So if you have zero punishments on your account it probably won't result in a perma. But man, that was really not an ok thing to do, and doing it again will likely result in a permanent ban.

Usually a 14 day ban comes first. Stop using the chat, it's a trap.

unless you got a 14 day previously you will not get perm-banned but you can be reported and punished for doing crap like that. if you plan on just taking your favorite role no matter what go do blind pick

Holding a role hostage is a violation of the rules. So yeah, you are in danger. You can still come back from this by being the best possible player for a few games. Wish you luck, but don't do it again. Try to dodge, rather to breaking more important rules.

If anything, first offense will net you a 14 day ban. Which is still pretty bad because your account will be scrutinized more harshly for any future offenses. I recommend blind pick if you cant/refuse to play other roles. You may end up with 2 mids, but you dont seem to care about that.

just mute all. Don't flame. Your records will reset and you will not be banned.
