We get it... you designed the ranked matchmaking system to throw trolls and low-win-rate extremely toxic players into games with normal players to sabotage and draw-out their ranking-up experience in-order to expose everyone to your merchandise for longer periods of time. Hopping to get that sale. Well done. You've managed to ruin a competitive strategy based game and turn it into trash. Cant wait till more and more people catch on to this scam.

Too bad it takes a couple years to truly discover this... and by then you've wasted so much time and money here.... ofcourse this is only in bronze, silver, and gold (the majority of the player base) so there's some illusion it's all whinny new players and a steep learning curve. Very clever... multilayered scam.

Do you imply that people would straight up stop playing, not just ranked mode but the game itself, after reaching a certain rank that they may or may not be happy with?

It's not that I have no issues with the matchmaking, but I don't think your theory is sound tbh.

They're making the game worse to sell more merch. If the game is worse, people will stop playing. If people stop playing less people to byt merch. WHERE'S THE LOGIC

I don't think it to be just a conspiracy.

The logic, evidence, doesn't matter. You just need to be rational even if it looks irrational.

There could be a statistics; the longer you belong to a lower division, the longer they continue to play. And the longer they play, there are more chances of their paying money to the game. or such?

Anyway I don't know what Riot wants to do with the new matchmaking system.

They are removing more smurfs from the lower tiers, which might result in worse matching quality thanks to those players who don't play lol as moba.

All I want is, fair games. And the afk protection. And the extra MMR penalty for the excessive feeding.

Im frustrated with the matchmaker too, but I don't think this is true....
