Punishments
AFKs in ranked matches are a huge bummer. In my opinion, the current punishment isn't severe enough, or too severe in some cases. Here are some ideas that I thought might work: -The AFK loses more LP, or has to pay a "fine" to their team mates as a recompensation (Maybe have some IP removed and transferred?) -Some people AFK because of circumstances they can't control. I've had a friend who had to AFK because her region experienced a snowstorm, although she still got the buster. I don't know a way to solve this, as others may abusive a system where you could file to have a buster removed, but I think that this is a fair point to bring up, as we can't exactly control the weather, or stop trees from falling onto our satellite dishes. (For you folks who live in more country-ish areas) -Decay of honour of each section if you AFK seems pretty reasonable to me. You're being the exact opposite of a good team mate and an honourable opponent, so you should be penalized accordingly. -Dodging queues or quitting games where you either have very toxic team mates or team mates that take negative actions that worsen your mood/mental health should be perfectly acceptable, although I admit that most systems dealing with this could easily be abused. -Sexual harassment or personal threats of bodily harm should never be tolerated in any situation, or taken lightly. If it's severe, I'm hoping to see a sort of "prioritized" report button for cases such as these. The issue with this is that many people would have different definitions of severe. -More serious consequences are definitely needed for toxic players. A two day chat restriction won't stop them from being toxic. Even if they're banned, they probably have three more accounts. This is unfair to the community, because the punishments aren't severe and public enough to actually convince players that toxicity will not be tolerated. By public, I meant that when a player first opens the game, the consequences will be listed out very, ver clearly, so that every player knows. Due to the amount of toxic players, most of the time, if someone mentions your champion name/username in chat, you automatically brace yourself for a slew or racial slurs, insults on your mother's weight and death threats. We must make it much more clear that being rude and disrespectful will not be tolerated at all.
