My internet service went down mid-game can I get refunded lost honor?

I was in a game as a support and we were winning but right during the middle of a teamfight my internet service suddenly stopped and I could not get back on for hours. As a result I suspect a bunch of people probably reported me for leaving. Is there any way I can get my lost honor back and get whatever leaver penalties attached to my account removed since I didn't try to leave my team?

Last night local Comcast internet service for eastern Tennessee went down mid-game and stayed down for several hours so I went to bed. Please check my account match integrity history to see it was not my fault, and I give permission to contact Comcast and prove they did indeed have an outage for my area. :/

PS: Wth? Why on earth would someone Downvote this? O_o

Last time I was late for work where people depends on me to get their jobs done, I gave them the contact number for my alarm clock's manufacturer because they sold me a defective product that didn't wake me up on time.

It didn't go over too well.........They told me something something about I am responsible for my own equipment and take some personal responsibility.....or something like that

As stated by other people, if this was truly a one-off occurrence and you don't regularly leave/afk in games, you will not get punished.

I haven't ever heard of Riot issuing a technical exception for internet issues that are not either due to Riot or due to one of their "dedicated pipelines" to ISPs around the country. Basically, if it's not Riot's servers, it's not their responsibility.

Just on my quick search, I can't find any online record of a widespread outage in any part of the country that would lead me to believe it was a "dedicated pipeline" issue. Thus, it's either a localized outage, or an outage just at your house/residential box. Both of those are not Riot's fault nor their responsibility.

Don't worry, the system is designed to not punish for the occasional internet issues. You'll be fine as long as you don't afk/leave regularly.

LeaverBuster doesn't levy penalties unless you dc/afk repeatedly over the course of several games. A single dc won't have an effect on your account.

You may be able to submit a support ticket with proof of the internet outage and maybe some trace pings or something to prove that you live in that area, if something did occur they might be able to approve the appeal.

But I doubt you will lose honor standing, because I am fairly certain that you don't lose honor unless you are specifically punished by Riot. And as others have stated here Riot will not punish you for a single DC.
