Saying "Im going to kill you" in game

Im pretty curious how this particular phrase is supposed to be taken. Ostensibly, I could say "Im going to kill you" in game, and clearly mean IN THE GAME; however I can also see some reverse trolls reporting that as toxic "real life threat" behavior. How does riot manage these types of statements?

When it comes to (potentially) very strong toxicity, I would assume the system to dish out a punishment that support is pretty likely to reverse in a manual review, provided the context makes it clear that it was meant as an in-game statement. I'm basing this on what I remember of certain punishments that were issued (and reversed or reduced) for people who told teammates to kill themselves (their champion) in an ARAM game.

But honestly, real life threats are... difficult to detect automatically. So I'd reckon most punishments that are issued specifically for death threats will come stem a manual review anyway.

I'm sure their unrefined system simply takes the safe route and gives you your vacation regardless of the statement's ambiguity. :)

The bot doesn't care about context at all. You're gonna be punished, the people here will downvote you, and crucify you.

It's their own fault for getting offended on the internet or in a video game(where you can actually mute people) TBH reports should only be used against trollers and feeders, but yea some people just cant help but get offended in the virtual world... Oh, someone tries to be funny? Looks like i'm gonna have to report him for no reason just because i got offended...
