Why can't you report someone for stealing the champ you selected? I was in a draft pick & ban and i pre selected to play nasus and someone from our team just takes him instead... I don't know why he did cause it's kind of an a-hole move but ok after the game i reproted him for toxic behavior cause he was but i wanted to report him for stealing the champion i was wanting to play. So yeah why can't we??

because it isnt against the rules to play what i intend, even if someone else wants to. if i want to play nasus jg and im ahead of you, im picking him cause of RNG pick order.

besides, enforcing a rule like this would make it if a highly contested pick/one trick is in a lobby, at least one of them is getting punished, just for playing their champ.

Because on its own it's that's not enough proof that they were doing it to troll you. They could have wanted to play that champion as well and picking a champion that you want to play, even if someone else has it hovered, is not against the rules.

It doesn't even look like they were taking Nasus to some weird lane, they were top lane Nasus.

I remember back before we could show our pick intent. I'm kind of on the fence about this one.

On one hand, it can be useful to let your team know what you might want to play. On the other hand, you're giving people information that they don't need. I dunno, I can see both sides of it. I hardly ever show my picks, it usually doesn't do any good for me.

However, the pick intent is just that - a "hey I would like to play this champion." It's not enforced, though. In draft pick bans take priority, and then pick order takes priority. Sometimes a person who's higher pick might also want the champion you want, and the way it's structured right now, they're allowed to pick it.

The alternative is blind pick.
