I was banned scripting? I wish for a repeal and an explanation.

Ok. I'm bad at League of Legends. Not sugarcoating it, I'm silver 4. But today when I woke up and logged in like I did every other day, it said my account had been permanently suspended. I checked my email and it said it was permanently suspended for the use of malicious third party programs to help myself gain an advantage (scripting). I have thought about using scripts, as I'm sure many people have, but I have never used scripts in game before. I've gone to a site called elobuddy and downloaded their file but ended up trying uninstalled it before I ever played a game with it. It was weird and wouldnt let me uninstall it right away so I had to go into the files and completely delete all the files in my harddrive of elobuddy. I have never played a game with this program and when i downloaded it and thought about it was a few months ago. Why would riot banned me now for thinking about something like this, and not then? If riot doesn't repeal my account fine. I'll start over. But at least an explanation of what I actually did. I never used scripts, and never will. I wouldn't go that low to cheat. Am I bad? yes, but i would rather learn the hard way than get a free pass. Riot please repeal my suspension and give me an explanation on the reason for my ban. Thank you
