There needs to be less toxicity, here's what Rito can do

This game is very toxic and it's sad and can really ruin the experience of this game fast or slowly. When I run into these type of people who will blame, swear, etc. I will report if it's necessary. But I've sent out several reports and I bet not even an 1/8 have been successful and taken care of, maybe even less than that because it's hard to remember. But we literally can't do anything expect report these people, yet Riot doesn't do much about it. Even if someone is reported, I believe riot should either look at the game they were reported for if they can now or in the future for proof, or thoroughly read the report if it's understandable. I think there may be a misunderstand here with how the system is supposed to work. Here's a highly simplified version that gets the main points across:

The system operates on a point-based system (let's say between 0 and 100 points). Once your point value passes 100, you earn a punishment and the point value resets.

Every report that contains problematic behavior adds to your point total. Some behaviors are sufficient to add 100 points all by themselves, while others may only get you a handful of points.

Good behavior reduces your point total and, once it's been low enough for long enough, your next punishment drops down a tier.

As a result, not every report you submit against someone with poor behavior will get them punished, but ALL your valid reports mean that person moves CLOSER to a punishment.

RIOT should make a team of people to go to players homes and paddle them when they are mean and toxic in game.

Riot, by and large, doesn't look at the reports for toxicity/chat abuse. The IFS does the vast majority of the work - so, you can doubt that your reports are being actioned on, but you wouldn't be right about it. Riot tends to only review chat abuse cases either per request (like appeals for punishments), or to check to make sure the IFS isn't delivering too many false-positive punishments.

Having an increase in manual review won't really help to decrease toxicity.

Aren't you just explaining what the Volunteers of Riot Games do?...

Swears are a modern slang in many regions,so not as much as reportable. But if they are towards someone and negative then you should report and if they go saying things like “Bish” then it’s nt really waht you think it is,

The system punishes based off consistency x severity.

Every game that is reported gets reviewed by an automated system and assigned a toxicity score based on its severity (no toxicity = 0 pts). When a player hits 100 pts, they get punished.

So you are absolutely correct that the system will punish people in the future based on your game. Although it's not based on your game alone.

You just don't get to be notified when people get punished as it has passed the "recent" time frame and at that point, you probably don't remember whom you reported.

This game is very toxic

No it isn't

{quoted}

It's just that a lot of people primarily focus on the negative more than positives. For example, 2 toxic people in a match still means that there are 8 players that arent but no one will go on on onto the boards and post that. They'll complain about those two players and ask for Riot to "do more" and an echo chamber effect hits.

So I firmly believe that the problem of toxicity is bad, and up since I started playing, but it's not rampant. Just people letting the little things get them worked up.
