Change the automated ban system to a overwatch system like csgo?

So I just recently started reading boards and many people seem to have a problem with the automated ban system banning people unfairly. Maybe implement a overwatch system like CS:GO has so honorable players can review cases if they feel like it. If enough people deem the player guilty they will be issued a ban. Thoughts?

if they feel like it

This is the problem with these systems, and why League abandoned the Tribunal years ago. There aren't enough people to review cases in a timely manner when they "feel like it." Punishments from the Tribunal would take weeks or months to get decided, and that's not fair to anyone involved. You also need to check out the average monthly players between CS:GO and League. You'll be surprised at the difference in volume.

Trust me when I say this - you want a system to decide on things like this. Humans are lazy and biased.

Bias has no place in a punishment system.

they "feel" that the ban is unfair 8/10 times it isn't

the automated ban system may have flaws, but honestly it is far better than most other systems currently in place on other games the biggest issue with the system is the fact that it only really works for chat related problems and not anything else

This system happened before but with chat only. Not enough players felt to check these cases, so it was scrapped. Riot doesn't want to pay anyone to review and automated bots are free.

How many criminals spend years behind bars stating that their crime was justified? This is an analogy of course as I am not calling League trolls criminals, but the analogy does apply here.

Those that say the system is unfair are those that are banned by it. No system is perfect, but the ban system in League is highly accurate and there are very, very few undeserved bans.

Often times, the same people will have multiple accounts banned when they complain about this. That is just further evidence that the system is doing its job as it is able to find these trolls and ban them even after they create new accounts.

many people seem to have a problem with the automated ban system ~~ banning people unfairly.~~ cos they don't understand how the system works and is refusing to take responsibility for their own toxicity.

Fixed it for you.

Here's the thing about the old tribunal system, no only that it is super back logged, but there were large amounts of false punishments as people just spam clicked "punish" without actually reviewing the case.
