Really worth a 25 game chat ban...?

Let me point out, all three of these games had horrendously toxic and troll players in them. Some of the worst (and most persistent) trolling I have experienced on my few years playing. Telling people to die of cancer/family too for someone calling out mistakes; junglers inting solidly for 20/25 minutes for his mistakes. You all know what I'm talking about, we've all experienced it. Now bearing this shitty few games in mind, here is my chat log for the 25 game ban.

Game 1 Pre-Game BlackFrankWhíte: supp Post-Game BlackFrankWhíte: you've all seen it before BlackFrankWhíte: someone ragequits BlackFrankWhíte: and the other players just cry to afk BlackFrankWhíte: you mate BlackFrankWhíte: from 2 minutes BlackFrankWhíte: "its pointless ff" BlackFrankWhíte: "im done"

(had someone afk at the 2nd minute, the mid and jungler proceeded to cry from that second minute about opening, throwing and afking themselves. Didn't even react to them during the game, didnt beg for them and the ragequitter to be reported.)

Game 2 Post-Game BlackFrankWhíte: great carry bro BlackFrankWhíte: mlg

(all I can remember from this game was a toxic premade botlane that kept telling me they would carry me, they didn't. I typed that at the end of the game. Too toxic? let me know..)

Game 3 Pre-Game BlackFrankWhíte: supp BlackFrankWhíte: nah you didnt BlackFrankWhíte: or troll supp? BlackFrankWhíte: im supp mate ;) BlackFrankWhíte: you're the troll Post-Game BlackFrankWhíte: go outside karma BlackFrankWhíte: play on the road

(had a player steal my support, i called first, he instalocked.. i had a bit of a joke and went adc regardless. He proceeded to troll/steal cs and feed, then run to other lanes for the rest of the game. Admittedly as you can see, I told him to go play on a road, which isn't nice. But yeah..)

I am sorry, I really don't see what is wrong with these chat logs. Sure I was toxic to get myself into a 25 game ban in the first place, but if these three games determine this ban. I am not overly impressed. And if previous punishments linger with you forever or for a longer period of time then riot should admit to their elo hell and keeping naughty players trapped together on an island. (Suggested but they have always said they never did it ^^)

Your chat logs are surprisingly sparse, so it appears that you're not posting them in their entirety, which is setting off tons of red flags.

Also, it takes a lot more than 3 games to reach a punishment, so those three were just the most recent, but it was not an exhaustive list.

Context doesn't matter within the realm of League punishments. Sorry you received a chat restriction after having a rough game but having difficult teammates doesn't excuse you from receiving punishments.

Also, I just want to preface this by saying that I feel like there might be more to all of these logs. I could be wrong and the only way to verify that would be if you took a screenshot of your report card, but I'm just getting a weird vibe. Idk.

Anyways, yeah, these logs (specifically Game 1) have some pretty standard negativity in them. You're passive-aggressive in Game 2, and in Game 3 you turned it up to 100 by telling Karma to "go outside and play on the road."

I think you knew what you were trying to say and I'm sure if anyone else did that, you'd want to report them and for Riot to take action against them.

im pretty tired of people getting so trigger happy with the report button, i haven't got any restrictions myself but its so annoying having to hear about it all the time from other people

when will people learn to mute instead of report lol

I had 1 game where we were doing PERFECTLY fine. I was carrying the game, which was fine as a mid-laner, but apparently 2 people HAD ENOUGH of NOT CARRYING the game themselves, and proceeded to FF. I was the only person who didn't, but everyone else did even though we were pretty even on K/D with the other team, and I was huge, but I got a loss because everybody quit. Not only this but in the post-game chat the 2 people then concluded that they just "didn't want to play with me", specifically me. It made NO sense because in-game I didn't type in chat AT ALL until they tried to FF which I only proceeded with a "wtf???" when everybody else agreed and we lost. Went into my next game and they basically said the same thing, that they didn't wanna play with me and then someone dodged the game. Random targeted trolling/hate, these are the kinds of people who should get bans. I reported them, but I don't think anything came of it.

There is reasonable anger and unjustified anger, if someone is deliberately being a bad person then I think you're justified to be angry, but if they're trying their best then it is unreasonable to be mad and hence deemed toxic. You were trying, they weren't, end of story, this can be done both ways. The 2nd one is more of an ironic comment you made? Not toxic imo. 1 time I had an opponent who at the end of the game said that his team sucked and he had an 80% winrate or something like that, basically blaming his team and trying to say he was a god at League, I just simply responded with "Not anymore lol".

They should also have a way to find "trigger happy" people and ban them, as it is only fair since that is being toxic trying to get innocent people banned. I'm definitely gonna try to keep my finger hovering over the screen capture button when I encounter trolls now.

pretty insane that this content could be enough to flag for a perma for some players.....
