I just wanted to post this while I'm waiting for a response from riot support because this is absolutely fucking stupid. I just got a chat restr. on my account for literally saying nothing toxic in chat all game.

This feels extremely undeserved and I think that the automated behavior bot has to go. I bet that i'm not the only person who got fucked over because of it.

blaming the system instead of his own consistent toxicity: check

the thing is you shouldn't listen to anything these people say it's not about the chat itself or the belitting of people. the system works with a point counter so certain "trigger words" rake up points leading up to your punishment even "boosted" is a trigger word so you need to be careful with what you sayin league anything can get you punished. ANYTHING.

I wouldnt be shocked if someone looked at this and decided to punish you even more. Even if ashe flamed you does that mean you should flame back? Or insult them the way you did? Whether this alone was ban-worthy, I'd say no because I've seen/heard/said worse.

Were YOU toxic? Yes, to the point where I asked myself why I even bothered to read the whole thing. You were 100% toxic, however you want to interpret the word.

Was bot lane also toxic? Yes. Did bot lane also get a chat restriction? I don't know, but if it is a repeated offense, then yes.

Why did YOU get a restriction? Probably, like I said, because it was a repeated offense.

They showed you this chat history to give context to why you got the restriction. What they probably didn't show you was your long line of repeated reports made against you for being toxic - probably.

In conclusion, get over it, stop crying, and next time you encounter toxicity in-chat, no matter what the form or justification, you keep your mouth shut, play the game, and report their asses in the end-game screen. Lashing back is NEVER going to help your case, whether or not you think you were right or not, toxic or not, or whatever

i find it funny that whenever someone attacks a flamer/ tells them they deserve it, they get upvotes. But when someone defends the flamer they get downvotes. TBH all these posts crack me up.

Chat restriction is pretty small penalty, Like a slap on the wrist, consider this a warning. Repeated incidences will have harder penalties.

Broken? no, working as intended apparently.
