Get Boosted

Recently I was added by a random summoner. It was late at night. I accepted, me being the lonely Bronze scrub that I am, only for them to message me the following:

"Hi, bellbell252! Ever Wanted To Duo Queue With A Professional LoL Player? Great News! We Now Offer Duo Queue With Some Of The Worlds Very Best! Including: LCS & ExLCS Players. [Web url]"

Apparently now it is practice for bot accounts to advertise boosting services.

I hate this. I hate it when I'm called boosted, and I hate being boosted. I have a few friends in Gold I'll play with but then I dislike it bc then all the games I proceed to solo q I lose (hmm what does that say about my skill level?). Granted I need to improve but I know that boosting is not how to do that.

I dislike that I'm getting spammed in my game. I shouldn't get awoken by league chat notifications only to get spammed.

What precautions does Riot have against spammers? Are there any rules against paying someone to boost you?

One of the main ways they combat people like this is through people submitting support tickets.

There are rules against boosting. There are rules against spam bots. I believe there are rules against advertising.

This kind of boosting is unlikely to get anyone banned.

It's been like that for years. Unfortunately, Riot will never be able to stop all of them. Get rid of one and 3 more just seem to sprout out.
